About Armany Davani

“Art is the language of my soul.”

Arman (Armany) Davani is a self-taught digital painter and dark artist specializing in surrealism and expressionism. With a passion for storytelling through visual art, he has been creating since childhood, drawing inspiration from personal experiences, emotions, and the complexities of the human condition.

Originally from Iran and Ukraine, Arman is currently based in Calgary, Canada, where he continues to evolve as an artist while actively engaging in the local arts and accessibility communities. His works, which often explore themes of struggle, transformation, and resilience, have been recognized internationally, including exhibitions in New York and Lisbon. Over the past five years, Arman has successfully sold around 500 of his digital artworks as NFTs, further expanding his reach in the digital art world.

His artistic journey took a significant turn after experiencing a spinal cord injury at the age of 16, an event that reshaped both his life and creative vision. Art became not only a means of self-expression but also a way to navigate and communicate his personal journey. His recent collection, The Journey of the Fallen Angel, reflects this deeply personal exploration, inspired by photographs taken in his hometown of Ahvaz.

Arman’s work blends digital and traditional techniques, emphasizing raw emotions, intricate details, and evocative compositions. While primarily known for his digital paintings, he also works with physical sketches and paintings, allowing his creativity to transcend mediums.

Beyond his personal life, He is also exploring new avenues in content creation, sharing insights into his artistic process and life experiences through social media.

His dedication to his craft and ability to turn adversity into powerful visual narratives continue to inspire both artists and audiences worldwide.
